A fresh start?

"Well I'm glad you did." Frankie smiled back, "We hopefully won't be gone too long so you behave for Dante okay?"

"Why would I not behave?" Jesse asked curiously, pouting as he pretended to be upset. "You don't think I cause trouble do you?"

"Cause your like your papa and trouble follows you guys." Frankie teased Jesse before hugging him tightly.

"Not me it doesn't." Jesse said before leaning against him.

Frankie chuckled softly, "I love you Jesse, we'll be back soon okay?" He kissed the top of his head and released the hug.

Caleb sat with his knees pulled against his chest on a park bench as Peter paced.

Jesse sighed and nodded. "Alright..."
Jacen smiled as he watched before hugging Jesse himself.

"Try and relax sir." Aiden said quietly, reaching a hand out to try stop Peter's pacing.

Frankie waited before leading Jacen outside to the car.
Alex looked at Artemis curiously.

Peter sighed and nodded, "I know... I just feel worried."

"I guess we should go check if they still want us to come..." Artemis said.

"That he'll go?"

Alex nodded, "Yeah we should."

Peter nodded, "Or they'll reject him and hurt him... I'm so worried for him."

Artemis nodded and headed outside after Jacen and Frankie.

"I thought you said Jacen wasn't like that?" Aiden asked.

"Do you two still need us to come with?" Alex asked.

"Jacen isn't, but I don't know Frankie..."

"Oh, um... I guess so. But maybe wait in the car unless we need you?" Jacen said.

"Oh right." Aiden nodded.

Alex nodded. "Alright Jacen." He climbed into the back seat so Frankie and Jacen could sit in the front.

Peter sighed.

Artemis followed Alex, sitting quietly in the back.
Jacen leaned back in his seat, resting while they travelled there.

"Sorry." Aiden muttered, guessing asking questions wasn't helping.

Frankie drove quickly, needing to know if Peter had been lying.

Peter hugged him before starting as the car arrived.
Caleb looked up.

Once they arrived, Jacen stayed sitting there for a moment, taking a deep breath before getting out.

Aiden sighed and patted Peter's shoulder.

Frankie watched before getting out himself.

Peter looked up and sighed sadly when he saw them arrive.
Caleb watched nervously, were these his real parents?

Jacen turned to look at him, trying not to look nervous.

"Try to stay calm sir..." Aiden said quietly.

Frankie wrapped his arm around Jacen.

Caleb slowly stood up as he looked at them.
Peter nodded slowly before saying to Jacen. "Jacen..."

Jacen gave a small smile before heading for where Peter was waiting, freezing when he spoke. "...Peter." He said quietly, nervously brushing a hand through his dark hair.

Caleb looked at the two curiously.

Frankie gasped softly when he saw Caleb, "J-Jacen..."

"I..." Jacen went to speak, but instead bit his lip, tears in his eyes after seeing Caleb.

Caleb slowly stepped forward, his stomach flipping.

Frankie bit on his lip.

Jacen stood there, not sure what to say; though he was sure if he did try to speak, the words wouldn't come out anyway.

"I... I'm Caleb..." Caleb said as he slowly held his hand out.
