A fresh start?

Jasper laughed and shook his head at them. "Not like she was trying to hurt you."

"I know." Aiden nodded.

Dante smiled happily and pulled all three of his little ones into a hug.

Peter sighed and left a message on Jacen's phone.

Aiden put a hand on his arm. "I'm sorry."

Cole smiled and hugged him back with one arm.

Jacen jumped awake when he heard his phone go off, having been resting after taking some of his meds. He slowly sat up, looking confused as he read the message.

Peter sadly put his hand over Aiden's.

Dante smiled and let go of the hug to lead Cole inside, to the kitchen.

Frankie slowly sat up, "What is it?"

"Maybe you could ask if you could still see him, if he goes?" Aiden said quietly.

"What do you two want to do?" Jasper asked the others.

"It's from Peter..." Jacen said slowly.

"Maybe." Peter replied softly, he knew Jacen hated him though.

"Help us get flowers for papa?" Kari asked.

"What does it say?" Frankie asked worriedly.

"He should be thankful," Aiden told him. "You looked after the kid, Raven wouldn't have."

"Why do you want to get him flowers?"

Jacen slowly held the phone out to him.

"I loved him like my own son." Peter said softly.

"Because that's what you get when someone gets a new job." Kari answered with a smile.

Frankie stared at the phone.

"I know." Aiden said softly, patting his shoulder.

"Oh," Jasper said, staying quiet for a moment as he thought about it. "I guess you do..."

Jacen bit his lip nervously as he watched Frankie, waiting for him to say something.

Peter sighed and slowly hugged Aiden.

"So help us pick some daddy?" Kari asked.

"I should kill Raven..." Frankie said softly, "And Peter."

Aiden slowly hugged him back.

"Alright." Jasper nodded.

"W-Why?" Jacen asked, not sure how to respond to the message.

Kari smiled and pulled her father and brother to get flowers.

"Because Raven just brings pain..." Frankie said softly, remembering his thoughts of something feeling incomplete.

"Which ones were you after?" Jasper asked.

Jacen let out a sigh before moving to curl up against Frankie. "I don't think Raven's had anything to do with his for a while..."

Kari pointed to lily's that she knew her papa liked.

Frankie hugged Jacen tightly, "Do you think its true?" He asked softly.

"Good idea." Jasper smiled when he saw.

Jacen swallowed nervously before looking up at him. "I-I don't know..." He mumbled, tears in his eyes. "What...what if it is though?"

Kari smiled and helped her father pick some for Dante.

"Then... We have to try and make it up to him... For not being there at all..."

"You think this is enough?" Jasper asked soon after.

"I know..." Jacen mumbled, hanging his head.

Kari smiled and nodded. "Yep."

Frankie kissed the top of his head, "We'll have to tell Jesse...."

"Okay." Jasper replied, holding them for her.

Jacen slowly nodded, taking a breath to try and stay calm.

Kari smiled and took her father's hand to go inside.

Frankie sighed softly before rubbing his back gently.

"You coming Soren?" Jasper asked.

"I-I'm fine..." Jacen said quietly. "I just- I never knew."

"Yeah coming dad." Soren answered before starting to follow.

"I know love..." Frankie said softly.

Jasper smiled at him before heading inside.

"I-I should have known...how come I didn't?"

Soren smiled back.

Dante smiled as he watched Cole cut some vegetables.

"We never went to the doctors hardly..." Frankie said softly.

Once they were inside, Jasper gave the flowers back to Kari.

Cole was quiet as he worked, focused on what he was doing.

"I know," Jacen sighed. "...though part of the time I wasn't home and couldn't."
