A fresh start?

"At least Raven went underground years ago..." Dante said softly.

"Yeah. Finally." Jacen said bitterly, looking away from Dante.

Dante sighed softly and hugged his uncle, "Frankie happy you're retiring?"

"I'm not sure," Jacen said, hugging him back. "I haven't really said much to him about it."

Dante nodded slowly, "Well I'm sure he'll be happy to know you'll be safer..."

"Probably." Jacen said with a smile. "Should we go tell them then?"

Dante gave a small smile before nodding, "Yeah I suppose it's time we told them." He slowly stood up.

Jacen smiled and got up as well, heading down to the living room to look for them.

Dante followed his uncle to the living room.

Alex was sitting on the couch reading a book.

"Hey Alex." Jacen said when he saw him. "Where are the others?"

Alex smiled as he looked up, "Arty is making some tea and I think Frankie is getting the mail."

Jacen nodded and sat on the arm of one of the couches while he waited for them.

Frankie walked in as he was going through the mail before smiling when he saw Jacen, "Hey." He said before looking at Dante and Alex.

"Hey Frankie." Jacen grinned, getting up to go over to him.

Frankie smiled and wrapped an arm around him.

Dante smiled when he saw Jasper nearby and went over to him.

"Look I'm up early." Jacen said jokingly.

"Oh hey." Jasper smiled when he saw him. "How are you doing?"

Frankie laughed, "We should call a meeting to share that shocking news love."

"I'm doing good." Dante smiled as he kissed Jasper softly.

"No need," Jacen smiled. "Already planning on having one."

"That's good." Jasper grinned, wrapping his arms around Dante's waist as he kissed back.

"Oh? You were? What about?" Frankie asked with a tilt of his head.

Dante smiled and wrapped his arms around Jasper's neck.

"You'll see." Jacen replied.

Jasper pulled Dante onto his lap, hugging him close.

Frankie nodded before kissing his cheek as the others joined the living room.

Dante smiled as he curled close and laid his head on Jasper's shoulder.

Jacen leaned against him with a small smile while he waited.

"Jacen's up?" Artemis said when he noticed, looking surprised before handing Alex his tea.

Frankie chuckled softly when he heard that.

"I know it's shocking." Alex laughed as he took his tea, "Thanks Arty..."

Dante looked at his uncle as he waited.

Jacen rolled his eyes at them, but then smiled.

"No problem." Artemis smiled, sitting beside Alex with his own cup.

Once Artemis was sitting, Jacen shifted slightly, suddenly nervous.

Alex smiled and leaned against Artemis.

Dante waited quiet, nervous as well.

"So what did you want to call a meeting about?" Frankie asked.
