A fresh start?

Artemis stuck his tongue out at Alex, while Jacen just laughed.

Jasper bit his lip before looking at Dante. "Only if Cole explains afterwards."

"He does?"

Alex pouted and wrapped his arms around Artemis's neck.

"Okay daddy." Kari said with a look at her twin, telling him to tell their parents everything.
Dante swallowed softly, "Well... We've got some big news..."

Peter nodded, "I-I don't want to give him up Aiden... But I don't think he'll stay happy here..."

Artemis smiled and hugged him close.

Cole sighed and hesitantly nodded. "...what news?"

"I'm surprised Raven even handed him over..." Aiden said. "Do they even know about him?"

Alex smiled and hugged back.

"Well... Your granduncle Jacen... He has given the business to me, I'm going to be running the Westmore family now." Dante said.

Peter shook his head, "No I'm sure they don't... I'm still surprised they never told any of us there were twins..."

Cole frowned slightly, taking a moment to work it out. "...you're the boss now?"

Aiden slowly nodded. "Knowing Raven he was hoping to just keep the kid for himself, assuming they weren't yours."

Dante nodded, "Yeah, I'm the Westmore boss..."

Peter nodded, "I thought he was really going to keep Caleb... But They wouldn't let him..."

Cole smiled a little, though he looked nervous at the same time.

"Who wouldn't?"

"So what do you kids think?" Dante asked softly as he reached for Jasper's hand.

"Orion and that Will kid..." Peter sat next to Aiden.

"...are you still going to have much time for us?" Cole asked quietly, causing Jasper to frown.

"Oh, them." Aiden nodded.

"Of course, you three and your father will always be number one in my life." Dante pulled all three in for a hug, "Nothing will change that I swear."

Peter nodded, "They gave me Caleb to raise."

Cole gave a small nod, carefully burying his face against Dante's shoulder when he hugged them.

"Even they know Raven's psycho."

"I love you and I will always be here for you." Dante looked at Jasper worriedly.

"Yeah... He's had a better life here instead of becoming a new Frankie..."

Jasper frowned and looked at the other two to see if they responded the same way.

"Which is never a good thing to be." Aiden frowned. "He's lucky."

Kari looked up at Jasper and Dante, "Will papa's job be safer now daddy?" She knew Dante loved them and didn't question that.

Peter nodded, "Very... I've loved raising him Aiden..."

"Uh, in a way I guess it will be." Jasper said. "He'll be at home more, but you've seen that even Jacen got in trouble..."

"I know." Aiden nodded.

"And grandpapa says trouble has a built in radar for finding papa." Kari said softly, half teasing her papa and worried for him.
Dante smiled softly and kissed the top of her head.

Peter sighed, "But he has no friends and he always asks about who his papa is..."

Jasper chuckled and wrapped an arm around Dante. "Something like that. But he's still here even with that."

"He does?" Aiden asked. "You never told him?"

Dante smiled and leaned close to Jasper.
Kari giggled softly.

Peter shook his head, "I was afraid he'd leave if he knew..."

Cole smiled a little as he watched them before slowly looking away again.

"You think he would have?"

Dante gently kissed the top of Cole's head before looking at Soren to see how he felt.
Soren looked up at Dante and Jasper. "Will daddy be protecting you since granddaddy Artemis retired?"

"I think he would have gone to meet him... And they'd never let him return to us..."

Jasper looked over at Soren, staying quiet for a moment before he smiled and nodded. "Of course I will." On the inside though, he was worried. He was older than Artemis was after all.

"Maybe," Aiden said quietly. "But you can't really force him to stay if he doesn't want to; you'd be doing that same thing."

Dante leaned against Jasper, "We'll have to get some more people if Frankie retires too..."

Peter nodded sadly, "Yes I know... Will you come with me to tell him?"

"I know, that might be hard..." Jasper sighed.

"Sure." Aiden nodded.

"Well if we're careful with who we hire we should be okay..." Dante leaned up to kiss his cheek, the back of his mind worried by the fact that Mason was still working.

Peter nodded and headed into Caleb's room.
Caleb was sitting with his keyboard, trying to play some music.

"I hope so." Jasper nodded.
Cole turned to look up at them, wondering what they were talking about.

Aiden followed quietly, pausing just outside the room as he normally would.
